Are bike rentals available?
Rentals are available at a separate cost for the Cycle & Sip ride at a nearby bike shop. A limited number of rentals are also available for the River Towns Tour through the Lumberville General Store. Arrangements should be made in advance of ride to assure availability. Rentals are not available for our other rides at this time.
Where do your tours start?
The starting point varies by tour and is listed with the ride description. For the Design Your Tour we will work with you to schedule a convenient start location.
What is the bike ride and route like?
Rides will be leisurely paced (8-10 MPH), cover approximately 10-20 miles with minimal hills on primarily low traffic roads, towpaths and bike trails. Rest room facilities will be available at beginning and end of the ride.
Can anyone participate in the tour?
You need to be at least 21 years of age for the Cycle and Sip ride; 18 years of age for all other rides. Participants need to be able to ride a bicycle and be comfortable riding on roads with cars.
When should I arrive?
You should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the listed start time in order to check in and allow time to discuss group ride safety.
What should I wear?
Helmets are required. Open toe shoes and sandals are not recommended. Comfortable clothing is appropriate, (e.g. shorts, t-shirts, sneakers). No spandex required!
Do I need to sign a waiver form?
Yes, you cannot participate in the ride until you sign a waiver.
What if it rains?
In the event that rain warrants canceling the tour, we will work with you to reschedule another day or provide a refund.
What is the refund policy?
Payment is fully refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours (2 days) in advance. No refund within 48 hours besides weather-related cancellations.
